It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading! is a weekly meme at Book Journey.  Participants have to share their previous week activities and their plans for the upcoming week.  This week

Since, I haven't been reading a lot I decided last week to begin with an audiobook.  I have been listening to My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers Book 1). So far the story has been unexpected and surprising.  I have listened to My Soul to Lose (Soul Screamers 0.5) and both books are narrated by Amanda Ronconi.  Ronconi does a good job making the protagonist believable.

Have you heard about Sex Criminals? Well, I read issue #1 Suzie Down in the Quiet at Comixology.  They have a pretty good Freebies section, which is where I found this series.  Recently, I found the first volume at Netgalley and read it.  The story is daring, kind of absurd at times but also, it has a quality to it that you cant help but to keep reading.  It is a little bit addictive.

So, this week... which are my plans?

• Finish My Soul to Take (audio format)
• Read switched by Amanda  Hocking (paperback format)
• Read at least 5 comics (e-format)

What do you plan for this week?

It's Monday!and this past week I have been immersed in The Morganville series.  I reviewed Midnight Alley and Feast of Fools and plan to continue with the series.  This year I'm working on my tbr.  I have many books that I haven't read and for months, even years and simply  have been on a enormous stack.  In case you missed them:

Midnight Alley

Feast of Fools

For my Children Playground section on Wednesdays I reviewed I Hate Picture Books! by Timothy Young.  Young has great books for children.  I Hate Picture Books! was delightful and unique.  Make a stop at my review of I Hate Picture Books!  I know you will like to get this book for your kids. On Saturday I have my feature of Graphic Saturday!  This Saturday I reviewed Grimm Fairy Tales Vol.13.  Take a look of my review of this comic book.

This week I plan to review Spellbound from the Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins.  Great series!   Also, I'll be posting my review of The Replacement.

Still planning my reading and audio for this week, but I see Witch and Wizard on the horizon.

It's Monday! What are you reading?

Last Monday I mentioned how curious I have been about audio books.  This past week I decided it was time to hear my first audio book.   I chose  Matched by Ally Condie since I've been wanting to read it,  but also because I have the second book waiting.  The version I heard to is narrated by Kate Simses.  I find her narration style lovely.  This the first time I pick an audio book and can truly affirme I'm fully converted.  I plan on keep including audio books on my daily activities because I fell in love with audible. Soon, I' ll share my review and thoughts with all of you.

I have been reading Shiver and have made great progress.  I could have ended this already, but my weekend was occupied and the audio book had my interest and never let me go.  This week it is a must I finish this one.

I read Cookie the walker by Chris Monroe.  A delightful storybook I must add.   The art, the colors and the writing merge beautifully.  Cookie is a lovely character that surely kids will love.  Also, I graphic novel and Glitter Kiss by Adrianne Ambrose arrived to my reading app.  Glitter Kiss was unexpectedly fun.  The idea is unusual but funny and fresh.

So, this week my plan is:
Do some serious reading.  Write my reviews ( no procastination is allowed) and do some browsing to choose my next audio!

It's Monday and the working week is beginning. Too much to do, and so little time! My plan for this week includes:

• Finish Daughter of Smoke and Bone

I'm so excited about reviewing this book.  The story is great and the characters are perfect for the story.

• Finally read Emerald City

• Work a little on my blog look.

Weekly meme @ Should Be Reading

How far along are you in your current read before you start thinking about what you'll read next?

I have this huge list of books and various piles of books waiting to be read at my house.  Generally, when I get to an approximately 50% of the book I'm reading, I begin to think on the next one.  If what I am reading is part of a series, I usually go for the series for the next weeks.
