It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Another Monday, so It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This is a meme hosted by Sheila at BookJourney where we bloggers share not only about what we did during the past week but also, about our plans for the present week.  I find this an excellent way to keep track of our bookish activities.

Last week I made some exploration on Audible.  I listen to the first chapter of Elixir by Hilary Duff and Elise Allen.  Also, I found the excerpt of Witch & Wizard by James Patterson, which I listened  twice.

I want to listen Elixir. That first chapter piqued my interest and Clea is one of those characters that intrigue me.

Witch & Wizard is... WOW! The excerpt is amazing.  My favorite thing is all the sounds you listen in the audio.  You listen to fire, marchs, everything.  The level of detail is amazing.  Elijah Wood is one of the narrators and he does a great job.

Last week, I reviewed A Tale of Two Daddies, a storybook by Vanita Oeschlager and a comic book, A Match Made In Heaven from the series My Boyfriend is a Monster.

This week I plan to post my reviews of The Replacement and Spellbound.   Also, I'll read Witch & Wizard because I'm loving that book right now.  I guess I'll do some exploration to find some good audio.

It's Monday! What are you reading?

Last week I did the Wicked Valentine Read-a thon
.
I read The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff and made progress in Two and Twenty Dark Tales. Also, I reviewed My Soul To Lose by Rachel Vincent. I picked this title in audio format and plan to keep reading the series.

This week I plan on working on my reviews of Midnight Alley and The Replacement.

I began Feast of Fools and will continue with Two and Twenty Dark Tales.  Still need to choose a comic book and a children book to read during the week.  Probably will listen to the audio of Spell Bound I got this week.

It's Monday ! What are you reading?

This is another Monday, Christmas is almost here.  Just some more days to buy presents and read your last books of this year.  If you are like me, even a basic reading plan is already on your mind.  Well, this is what I have been doing, and thanks to this awesome meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey now you will know.
I've been participating of WinterHaven Sleigh Tour.  It has been so much fun.  This tour is divided in three activities, you can choose one or you can choose all.  The first is choosing a book and review it ( winter setting or the words winter or christmas on the title).  I reviewed Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater.  My favorite detail of this book is how the temperature plays a crucial role for the development of events, it is always present in the action. The second activity is writing a letter to Santa, which I did.  The last event will be choosing  a favorite Christmas story.  I'm still thinking about this one.
I wrote some reviews.   Wednesdays I do what I call Children Playground.  My post was a  review of the storybook Cookie the walker by Chris Monroe. The artist was so sweet, even sent me a image of the book.   The art is carefully done.  The colors are gorgeous and the story is inviting and playful.   It is perfect to promote initiative and uniqueness in children.  Saturday I do Graphic Saturdays!, where I feature comic books and graphic novels.  This Saturday was the turn for Glitter Kiss by Adrianne Ambrose.  This comic book is funny and interesting.  And the main character is likable.  The art is nice
I read Flood by Alvaro Villa, They're coming by Timothy Young and Cadaver by Jonah D. Ansell.  This week I have the goal to write all these reviews and the one for Matched by Ally Condie (audio book) which I greatly enjoyed.
Right now I retook Sparks Ignite by J.A. Gouthro and since I have audible thanks to my hubby, now I'm hearing Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins.  Let's see what else I add during the week.
Last week I was really occupied with the planning of my job's early Christmas party.  It was a success.  So happy!  This week  I expect to do a little  bit of  work on my feedbacks at Netgalley before next Monday.
Have a great reading week! Enjoy your books.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

I haven't post this meme in quite a while.  This meme is hosted at Book Journey and it is a good way to keep track of my reading plans and follow through.

Yesterday, I finished Swell by Julie Duck.  This is a YA book with an edgy story.  This is the second book I read by this author and it is a pageturner.  Be sure to include this one on your individual TBR's.  Tomorrow my review will be posted, stick around.

Right now, I'm reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater for the Winterhaven Tour and  Sparks Ignite by J. A. Gouthro.

Have to choose something to read on my kindle app.  Also, thinking about audiobooks.  Any suggestions?  Do audiobooks offer a good experience?

Now, you know what have been going on in my reading activity.  About movies, recently I watched the new Breaking Dawn.  The movies have been improving and the hard work is obvious in this one, the last of the Twilight saga.

These are my reading plans.  Have you plan your reading week?

Children Playground: Eye to Eye by Vanita Oelschlager
