Beat The Heat Readathon Sign Up

My reading has been needing a lot of help lately. My available time for reading and wandering inside literary worlds has been reduced drastically over the past months.  I don't like to measure my time nor I like to keep up with a Calendar when reading.  I used to read everyday and know I can't.  Although I can't read everyday I try to make it work and read everytime I can.

Audiobooks are a lot of help.  I listen to a story on my commute, which is great, but sometimes I don't want audio, I don't want ebooks because I just want plain old books. So, I use the formats available to bring some diversity to my reading and maximize my available time.

So all that explaining is for you to know why you will see that my list is a mix of audio, e-format and books. Readathons are a motivational thing for me, so I will read as much as I can and try to participate as much as I can. Let's grab some fiction!
My goals for this Beat the Heat Readathon:

BookAuthorFormat
1KindredJ.A, Redmerskie-book
2CeruleanAnna Kyssaudio
3Blood Orange SodaJames Michael Larranagaebook
4Flowers in the AtticV.C. Andrewsebook
5TornAmanda Hockingpaperback

My strategy for Beat The Heat Readathon

Beat the Heat has began and it promises two weeks of reading madness.  After some thought, this is the goal I have set to myself.  I want to read  but also, incorporate some audio.  Planning on using all the gadgets available.  Here is my plan:

First Week
  • End The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa
  • Listen to Carter Finally Gets It by Brent Crawford
  • Read Roar and Liv: an Under The Never Sky Story by Veronica Rossi
  • Read The Intrepid Scapegoat by Brian Smith (Comic Book)
  • Read Candy and the Cankersaur by Jason Sandberg
Second Week
Plan for this week is WORK IN PROGRESS.  I'll let my kindle decide.
