This is another Monday, Christmas is almost here. Just some more days to buy presents and read your last books of this year. If you are like me, even a basic reading plan is already on your mind. Well, this is what I have been doing, and thanks to this awesome meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey now you will know.
I've been participating of WinterHaven Sleigh Tour. It has been so much fun. This tour is divided in three activities, you can choose one or you can choose all. The first is choosing a book and review it ( winter setting or the words winter or christmas on the title). I reviewed Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. My favorite detail of this book is how the temperature plays a crucial role for the development of events, it is always present in the action. The second activity is writing a letter to Santa, which I did. The last event will be choosing a favorite Christmas story. I'm still thinking about this one.
I wrote some reviews. Wednesdays I do what I call Children Playground. My post was a review of the storybook Cookie the walker by Chris Monroe. The artist was so sweet, even sent me a image of the book. The art is carefully done. The colors are gorgeous and the story is inviting and playful. It is perfect to promote initiative and uniqueness in children. Saturday I do Graphic Saturdays!, where I feature comic books and graphic novels. This Saturday was the turn for Glitter Kiss by Adrianne Ambrose. This comic book is funny and interesting. And the main character is likable. The art is nice
I read Flood by Alvaro Villa, They're coming by Timothy Young and Cadaver by Jonah D. Ansell. This week I have the goal to write all these reviews and the one for Matched by Ally Condie (audio book) which I greatly enjoyed.
Right now I retook Sparks Ignite by J.A. Gouthro and since I have audible thanks to my hubby, now I'm hearing Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. Let's see what else I add during the week.
Last week I was really occupied with the planning of my job's early Christmas party. It was a success. So happy! This week I expect to do a little bit of work on my feedbacks at Netgalley before next Monday.
Have a great reading week! Enjoy your books.
