What do you do with the book before you start reading it?
Before I read a book I like to read about the author on the book jacket or at the end of the book, it depends on the edition.   Sometimes,  I read the synopsis on the back of the book.  I tend to ignore the synopsis because I love to be surprised by the events on a story.  Also, I browse the table of contents because I like to think after I read a chapter in how that tittle was related to the story.
