Musing Mondays

Do you tend to read to the end of a chapter or can you stop anywhere?

This will depend on the time I have available for reading.  For example, if I'm waiting I'm turn at an office, probably I will stop on a chapter.  If I'm reading at my bed I will read until I feel tired, so I will stop anywhere.
But when I find a really great book,  one of those page turners, I usually say: "I'll read till chapter #3."  Then something amazing happens and I say: "Ten more pages."  And I keep going until I fall sleep if I'm reading late at night, or until it's my turn, if I'm at an office or appointment.

  1. Hey Jess, great question!
I always try to read to the end of the chapter when reading, but it just depends. If the chapters are really long and I need a break, I'll just read to the next section :)
Happy Monday to you and your readers!

  2. That happens to me too! I always say I'm going to read 1 more chapter, but I end up reading way more. I love books that have me do that. :) Great answer!
