What books do you have to “catch-up” on before the movie comes out?

Well, I should read The Hobbit during this year since the first movie will be release during December 2012.   Also, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is on my list.  This book from Seth Grahame- Smith will be part of the big screen during 2012.  I began listening to the audiobook and it sounded quite interesting.

    I really want to read Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It sounds like a book I'd love.

    I'm looking forward to both these movies. I always wondered why they didn't do The Hobbit first, I guess it didn't have enough WOW.
